Sally Tartre, Executive Director at A Place to Start, has been selected as a Scientific Advisory Board Member!
Here is the official information:
Title: Network for Investigation of Delirium across the U.S. (NIDUS) Sharon K. Inouye, MD, MPH, Principal Investigator. National Institute on Aging.
Dates of Award: 9/30/2016-4/30/2021.
Total direct costs: $2,775,994.
Role: Scientific Advisory Board Member.
Dr. Malza Boustani, experienced geriatrician, delirium researcher, and former President of the American Delirium Society will chair this group.
The SAB includes experienced investigators from 17 institutions, representing a broad variety of research expertise across multiple fields. (Neuroscience, anesthesiology, geriatrics, emergency medicine, neuroimaging to name a few.)
Sally Tartre patient/caregiver advocate, on the SAB to bring another important perspective, to further enhance its relevance for patient care, and to enhance dissemination.
A Place to Start and A Place to Gather has been recognized by the York County Elder Abuse Task Force!
